Repairing a Garage Door Opener - Saving Money

The other day my Garage Door stop working.  The screw drive sections had come apart.  Just a tip that I learned.  Save yourself some money and buy the   Low Temp Garage Door Grease and lube up your garage door parts on a regular basis.  One you will save on repairs and two the garage door is a lot quieter.  The part that I ended up needing was just a little Genie door coupling and clip which is officially called the Genie 19863R Screw Drive Clip and Collar Screw Connectors.  It was only $5.95 so it ended up being an inexpensive repair.

Saving Money with Vonage VOIP Phone Service

We recently switched over to Vonage phone service. I have really found that it has been a transparent money saving switch for our family. I even have a friend of mine that recently moved to Germany. They still have the same home phone number in Germany. Vonage is around $10 per month cheaper than my old land line and I have unlimited long distance which is great. Because the land line phone system thought everything was long distance.

Another friend of my was telling me about MajicJack which according to what he told me is an even less expensive VOIP system. I am surprise that the normal phone company hasn't come up with their own version yet. Maybe they have.
